Kenneth Nelson

Kenneth Nelson, 68, of Wendover Road, Hyden, KY, departed this walk of life on July 28, 2020 at the Rockcastle Co. Hospital.  Kenneth was born in Laurel County, Kentucky, the son of the late Chester and Inez Nelson..  Kenneth was retired from ICG Mines Inc. where he worked as a heavy equipment operator.

In addition to his father, Kenneth was preceded in death by one son, Timmy Nelson.

Kenneth leaves behind his loving & devoted wife, Rhonda Adams Nelson of Hyden, KY, one son, Kenneth Nelson, Jr. (Melissa) of London, KY, step sons, Jerry Baker and Joey Sizemore, both of Hyden, KY; He is also survived by four sisters, Eva Gail, Edna, Ethel and Cothia; five brothers, Don, James, Gene, Chester and McArther.  His grandchildren, Kendall, Kaden, Kayleigh, Alan, Amber and Starling.
