Kenny Bowling

Funeral: 1 p.m. – Friday, December 20, 2019 at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Geoffrey Roberts and Coy Duff officiating.

Interment: Glady Branch Cemetery – Stinnett, KY

Visitation: 6-9 p.m. – Thursday evening at the funeral home chapel.

Mr. Kenny Bowling of Stinnett, Kentucky was born February 01, 1958 in Hyden, Kentucky to the union of Lillie Barker Bowling and the late, Kenneth Bowling.  Kenny had been a life-long resident of Leslie County except for having lived in Michigan and Ohio in his former years.  By occupation, Kenny worked for General Motors Company and was a former Trucking Dispatcher.  Kenny enjoyed carpentry and wood working.  He enjoyed music and was well rounded in the 70’s music.  He was baptized at and affiliated with the Stinnett Church of Christ.  Kenny departed this walk of life on December 15, 2019 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard.  He was 61 years old.

In addition to his father, Kenny was preceded in death by a brother, George Bowling and a nephew, Ritchie Napier.

Kenny leaves behind his beloved mother, Lillie Barker Bowling of Cedar Park, TX, his wife, Barbara Napier Bowling of Stinnett, KY, one son, Tim Ray of Flint, MI, and three step children, Steven Collett, Joseph Collett and Angela Collett, all of Stinnett, KY.  Other survivors include, three sisters, Debbie Elliott & husband, Parish of Lago Vista, TX, Kyna Robins of Cedar Park, TX, and Bernice Bowling of Stinnett, KY, three grandchildren, Abigale, Havanna and Alannah, devoted sister-in-law, Tina Bowling of Stinnett, KY, niece and nephew, Natasha Cortes of Austin, TX and Jesse Bowling of Stinnett, KY, great nieces, Andora, Mileena, Haley and Holly, and a great-nephew, Stewart.  A host of other relatives and friends survive.

Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
