Leemon Asher

Mr. Leemon Aaron "Brother" Asher, age 36 of Bledsoe, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015 at his residence. Leemon was born July 28, 1978 in Harlan, Kentucky to the union of Leemon Asher and Joyce Gross Asher. Leemon was a life long residence of Leslie County and by occupation was a coal miner. He was affiliated with the Dry Fork Holiness Church at Helton, KY. Leemon enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling and drawing. Most importantly, Leemon enjoyed spending time and being involved in the lives of his children and family. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Farmer Asher and Matilda Brock and maternal grandparents: Alfred Gross and Beaulah Alexander; special cousin: Curt Asher.

Leemon leaves surviving his loving and devoted wife, Karrie Coots Asher of Bledsoe, KY; his beloved parents, Leemon Asher and Joyce Gross Asher of Bledsoe, KY; two sons: Tiler Aaron Asher and Mason Conner Asher, both of Bledsoe, KY; one daughter: Peyton Lee Ann Asher of Bledsoe, KY; three sisters: Patricia Asher (Jerry) of Cumberland, KY, Verda Asher (Bill), and Tanya Asher (Willie), both of Bledsoe, KY; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Joel and Tammy Coots of Lejunior, KY; brother-in-law: Kevin Coots (Sara) of Lejunior, KY; sister-in-law: Erica Mefford (Scott) of Lejunior, KY; A host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other family and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the Dry Fork Holiness Church with Roscoe Asher and Cammie Bo Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow at the Dry Fork Cemetery at Helton, KY. The family will receive friends for visitation after 6:00 P.M., Tuesday evening, continuing until the funeral hour on Thursday at the church.
