Lester Wayne Morgan

Mr. Lester W. Morgan, born March 02, 1951 to the union of the late Daymon and Betty L. Britton Morgan, departed this life on Saturday, August 06, 2022 at Union City, OH.  He was raised in Leslie County and by occupation, he was a truck driver.  Lester served honorably in the United States Air Force.  In his former years, Lester worked as a Jet Engine Mechanic.

In addition to his parents, Lester was preceded in death by one brother, Waymon Morgan and a sister, Sally Morgan.

Lester leaves behind, three beloved sons, Kenny Morgan of West Alexandria, OH, Corey Morgan of Eaton, OH and Timothy Morgan of Union City, OH.  Other survivors include, his siblings, David Morgan Bowling (Dorothy) of Danville, KY, Daymon Ray Morgan of Hoskinston, KY, James Morgan (Doris) of Bell Fountain, OH, Dale Morgan of Florida and Cartha Merrill of Stanford, KY.  His cherished grandchildren, Seth, Caleb, Courtney, Samantha, Austin, Kyle, Desiree, Cynthia, Valerie, Michael and Brianna.  A host of other family and friends also survive.

Graveside service for Mr. Lester W. Morgan will be held at 11 a.m. - Friday at the KY Veteran's Cemetery Southeast in Hyden, KY with full military honors performed by Leslie County D.A.V.,  Chapter 133.  Interment will follow the service.

Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
