Linda Faye Collett

Linda Faye Collett, of Hyden, Kentucky, departed this earthly walk of life on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at the age of 69. She was born December 01, 1946 in Hazard, Kentucky to the union of the late Mack and Bonnie Young Napier. Linda was united in marriage to Al Collett, on May 28, 1966 in Hyden, Kentucky. Linda had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. She was a homemaker and former library worker. Linda liked to volunteer in her community and help others. Although she had been afflicted with sickness, her perseverance was evident in all she did. She enjoyed crafts, cooking, baking, sewing and most importantly, spending time with her family that she loved so much. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, April Lynette Collett and one sister, Gloria Napier.

Survivors include, her loving and devoted husband, Al Collett of Hyden, Kentucky; two sons, Greg Collett and wife, Stacey of Hyden, KY, and Justin Collett and wife, Jennifer of New Tazwell, TN; two daughters, Bonnie Collett of Berea, KY and Melinda Sizemore and husband, Jonathan of Stinnett, KY; step daughter, Debbie Collett of Batavia, OH; two brothers, William Napier and wife, Gracie of Hyden, KY, and Willard Napier and wife, Stacey of Hyden, KY; three sisters, Diane Melton and husband, Dickie of Hyden, KY, Bobbi Deaton and husband, Dale of Versailles, KY, and Mary Ann Hoskins and husband, Pat of London, KY; six cherished grandchildren, Emily Collett, Allison Collett, Waylon Sizemore, Cooper Collett, Rylon Sizemore and Corey Derossett; special friends, Francis Lawson and Jackie Fugate; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive her passing.

Funeral services for Linda Faye Collett will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 19, 2016 in the chapel of the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Wolfe and Robert Amundson officiating. Interment will follow in the Napier Family Cemetery at Hyden, Kentucky. The Collett family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M., Tuesday evening at the chapel.
