Lloyd Griffith

Lloyd Griffith, age 70 of Hyden, Kentucky passed away on Saturday at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital, Mt. Vernon, Kentucky. He was ther son of the late Millard and Bessie Coots. Lloyd enjoyed spending time with his son Ethan, working on cars, watching westerns on television.

Lloyd is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Griffith, parents, Millard and Bessie Griffith, grandparents, Arch and Eliza Griffith, Bub and Sarah Coots, brothers, Millard Griffith,Jr., Ross Griffith, and step brother, Giles Joseph.  Two sisters, Alene Feltner and Bernice Griffith. Nephew, Carlos Feltner.

He leaves surviving, son Anthony Ethan Burns of Hyden, Kentucky, step sons, Tony Burns (Carolyn), and Tommy Bentley(Wendy) both of Hyden, Kentucky. Two step daughters, Doris Gail Asher of Hyden, Kentucky and Debbie Densmore (Alan) of Hyden, Kentucky. A special friend, Willie Ray Pennington of Hyden, Kentucky. A special nephew, Ralph Feltner and special niece, Tammy Adams. Along with Seven cherished grandchildren and six cherished great-grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews and friends also survive his  passing.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the Wolfe and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Robbie Horton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Howard Family Cemetery at Hyden, Kentucky.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday at 11:00 am till 2:00 pm.  Wolfe and Sons Funeral Home is carefully handling all of the arrangements..

The family has requested in lieu of flowers donations be made to the funeral home towards burial expences.
