Lonnie Morgan

Lonnie Morgan, age 62 of London, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at his residence. He was born November 11, 1952 in Leslie County, Kentucky to the union of the late Bill Morgan and the late Mallie Griffett. By occupation, Lonnie was a Coal Miner. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers: Jimmy Morgan, J.C. Morgan, and Joe B. Morgan.

Lonnie is survived by his wife Irene Morgan; three daughters Shawna Davis and Anthony Bailey of London, KY, and Chasity Couch and Brian of Stinnett, KY. and Faith Smith Morgan; three brothers: Ottis Morgan (Linda) of Nancy, KY, Bobby Morgan (Polly) of Dayton, OH, and Paul Morgan (Loretta) of London, KY; two sisters: Naomi Lawson (Bill) of Sparta, KY, and Hallie Hall (Ronald) of Mozelle, KY; three grandchilden: Alexi Davis, Robert Wayne Maggard. A host of other family and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. - Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Stinnett Pentecostal Church with James Bowling, Jr., and Keith Bowling officiating. Burial will follow in the Glady Branch Cemetery at Stinnett, KY. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the church.
