Luther Earls

Mr. Luther Earls, born January 02, 1923 in Hyden, Kentucky to the union of the late Lige Earls and the late Mollie Sizemore Earls. He departed this life on Monday, February 28, 2011 at his residence in Bear Branch. He was 88 years, 1 month and 25 days of age at the time of his passing. He was a life long resident of Leslie County, with the exception of having lived in Cincinnati, OH in his formative years. Luther was a United States Army Veteran. He loved the hills and was a true mountain man. He enjoyed ginsenging. He loved people and had a heart felt love for children. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and five sisters. Luther leaves the following relatives surviving: His sister: Blanch Williams of Hudson, FL and a host of special nieces, nephews, other family and friends also survive.
