Maggie Nolan Roark

Ms. Maggie Nolan Roark, born February 10, 1938 in Leslie County, KY to the union of the late David & Rosie Hoskins Nolan. She departed this life on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, KY. She was 73 years of age and was residing at Laurel Creek Road, Chappell, KY at the time of her passing. She was a homemaker and a life long resident of Leslie County.She is preceded in death by her parents, two brother: Caleb Nolan, and Frank Nolan, one sister: Polly Jane Caldwell and two grandchildren: Earl Rodger Combs, Jr. and Sampson Anthony Brock.Maggie leaves the following surviving: Her life long companion: Sampson Roark of Chappell, KY, two sons: David Roark & Jennifer and Ronald Roark, both of Warbranch, KY. Four daughters: Carol Smallwood & Winston of Warbranch, KY, Audrey Roark of Middlesboro, KY, Margie Combs & Earl Harriman, TN and Polly Willoughby & Ken of Lancaster, KY. Three brothers: Walter Nolan & Essie of London, KY, A.D. Nolan & Jean and Burchell Nolan & Sue of both of Warbranch, KY. One sister: Louis Warford of Warbranch, KY. 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren also survive.
