Margaret Whitehead Bray

Margaret Whitehead Bray, born November 10, 1927 in Virginia to the union of the late John and Amy Katherine Turner Whitehead. She departed this life on Friday, July 02, 2010 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. She was 82 years, 7 months and 22 days of age. She was residing at 200 South Peters Branch Road, Mozelle, KY at the time of her passing. She was a life long resident of Leslie County and was a member of the Stinnett Church of Christ. She was a homemaker and enjoyed: Sewing, quilting and working in her flower garden. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family and going to church. She is preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers: Ralph Whitehead, Carson Whitehead, Nick North and Elhanon Pennington. 1 Sister: Lucy Mosley; 1 granddaughter: Veronica Hubbard. Margaret leaves the following surviving: Her loving and devoted husband: Early Bray of Mozelle, KY; One son: Stanley Bray of Mozelle, KY; One whom she loved as her own: Charlie Taylor of Indiana; Two daughters: Karen Gilbert (Roger) of Stinnett, KY and Katheryn Joseph (Allen) of London, KY; Two brothers: Adrian and Taylor Whitehead. Two sisters: Fannie Roberts and Bardie Whitehead. 9 grandchildren: Amy Hoskins, Kevin Bray, Michael Joseph, Kyle Nantz, Sherry Joseph, John Joseph, Wesley Gilbert, Christopher Bray and Keisha Freeman. 11 great grandchildren & 2 great great grandchildren. A host of other relatives and friends survive. GRANSONS WILL SERVE AS PALLBEARERS
