Mary (Barger) Young

Funeral: 12:00 Noon – Friday in the chapel of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with George Abner officiating and reading of the obituary by Jeremy Abner.

Interment: Couchtown – Government Cemetery at Saul, KY.

Visitation: 10 a.m. until the service hour at the funeral home chapel on Friday.

Mary Magdalene Barger Young, of Saul, Kentucky departed this walk of life on Monday, June 10, 2019 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center at the age of 53.  She was born November 30, 1965 in Hyden, Kentucky to the late Levi and Juanita Barger.  Mary was a homemaker and had been a life-long resident of Saul, Kentucky.  She was a devoted caretaker and enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking.  She was known for her genuine motherly love and concern to others.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Earl Barger.

Mary leaves behind her husband, Tim Young of Saul, KY, three siblings, Eugene Barger (Dawn) of Harlan, KY, Glenna Woods (Kerry), and Levi Barger, Jr., both of Saul, KY, sister-in-law, Doris Barger of Saul, KY.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
