Marylin Hoskins, of Camp Creek Road, departed this walk of life on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at the age of 75 years. She was born May 01, 1940 in Leslie County, Kentucky to the union of the late Nicholas and Flora Howard Feltner. Marylin was a life long resident of Leslie County and retired from the Frontier Nursing Service, where she served as head cook for many years. Marylin was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She loved being involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed going to church and gardening. Marylin was always ready to go any time the wheels were rolling. She especially enjoyed traveling with her best friend, Aggie Melton. Other than her parents, Marylin was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clarence Hoskins; one beloved son, Tony Hoskins; brothers, David, Pearl and Ralph Feltner; sisters, Pauline Young and Edith Brady.
Survivors include, one beloved son, Greg Hoskins of Wendover, KY; one brother, Carl Feltner of Stinnett, KY; two sisters, Louise Butters, and Helen Lewis; seven cherished grandchildren, Jessica Renae, Sondra, Stacey, Elizabeth, Angel, Dustin and Travis; one great-grandchild; a very special friend, Aggie Melton. A host of other family and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M, Wednesday at the Camp Creek Church of Christ with Craig Melton, Mack Lewis and Hobie Hayes officiating. Interment will follow in the Singleton Cemetery, Wendover, KY. The Hoskins family will receive friends for visitation after 6:00 P.M., Tuesday evening at the church.
