Mildred Ellen Joyce

Mildred Ellen Joyce JOYCE, MILDRED, of Louisville passed away Friday, August 16, following a brief illness. She left the world peacefully with family by her side at Baptist Health Louisville. Mildred was born June 25, 1931 in Hyden, KY to the late Burchell and Alta Mae Wooton and was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church. She was a retired supervisor at National City Bank (PNC) with 20-plus years of service. Mildred was preceded in death by husband John "Jack" Joyce, sister, Vanda Stacy and brothers, Mark, Carl and John Wooton. She is survived by sisters, Eva Ruth Morgan of Hyden and Shirley Pack (Terry) of Maryland Heights, MO; brother, Donald Wooton (Delores) of Hyden; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Millie was a kind, compassionate person with tremendous love for family, friends and special friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held at Pearson's Funeral Home, 149 Breckinridge Lane, on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made in Mildred's name to the Amerian Cancer Society or Susan G.
