Mr. Freeman Burley (Shorty) Hoskins

Mr. Freeman "Shorty" Hoskins, born September 06, 1938 in Leslie County, KY to the union of Eunice Farmer Hoskins and the late Hobert Hoskins. He departed this life on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at his residence in London, KY. He was 73 years, 01 month and 13 days of age and was residing at 404 Whitson School Rd., London, KY at the time of his passing. He was a life long resident of Leslie County with the exception of having lived in London for a short time. He was of the church of Christ faith and was a member of the Stinnett Church of Christ. He was a United States Army Veteran and by occupation he was a coal loader operator.He is preceded in death by his father: Hobert Hoskins.He leaves the following surviving: His beloved mother: Eunice Farmer Hoskins of Stinnett, KY, two sons: Zack Freeman Hoskins & Tresa of London, KY and Hobert Deronnie Hoskins & Bernetta of Hyden, KY. One daughter: Jessica Romaine Collett & Michael of New Jersey, one brother: Hobert Hoskins, Jr. & Barbara of Asher, KY, two sisters: Yvonne Hacker of Stinnett, KY and Phyllis Morgan & Leo of Dayton, OH. Three grandchildren: Peyton Gabriel Hoskins, Bentley Cooper Collett and Danisha Hoskins. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive.Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Monday in the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Emmitt Farmer,Ted Couch and Danny Holland officiating. Burial will follow in the Farmer Cemetery, Stinnett, Ky.The family will receive friends at the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home on Sunday from 6:00-10:00 P.M.
