Mr. Larry (Junior) Morgan

Mr. Larry E. (Junior) Morgan, Jr., born October 23, 1947 in Leslie County, KY to the union of the late Elmer & Mary Morgan. He departed this life on Monday, November 07, 2011 at the Albert Chandler UK Hospital in Lexington, KY. He was 64 years and 15 days of age at the time of his passing. Larry was a life long resident of Leslie County with the exception of having lived in Ohio of a period of time. He was currently residing at John Morgan Memorial Drive, Essie, KY. By occupation he was a retired truck driver. He enjoyed playing Blue Grass music, camping, watching TV and attending Blue Grass Festivals. His love for Blue Grass music was evident. He is preceded in death by his parents; one daughter: Sandy Whitehead, three brothers: Wycliffe, John Jeffrey and Victor Morgan. Three sisters: Bonnie Jean Morgan, Pearl Jones and Hilda Cartee.Mr. Larry E. (Junior) Morgan leaves the following relatives surviving: His loving and devoted wife: Debra Morgan of Essie, KY, one son: Rodney Morgan of Tennessee, one step-daughter: Andrea Ward of Coldiron, KY, one brother: E.W. Morgan & Emma of Monticello, KY. Two grandchildren: Corey Whitehead and Jessica Whitehead. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
