Mrs. Dixie E. Howard

Dixie Elouise Howard, born October 14, 1944 in Dry Creek West Virginia to the union of the late William Dalton Bryant and the late Dixie Peters Bryant. Dixie departed this life on Monday, September 03, 2012 at the Mary Breckinridge ARH Hospital in Hyden, KY. She was 67 - years, 10 - months and 20 - days of age at the time of her passing. Dixie was united in marriage to her loving husband, Robert Howard on October 16, 1964. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. Dixie enjoyed her animals, she also enjoyed quilting, crocheting and crafts. Dixie is preceded in death by her parents and one brother: William Dalton Bryant. Mrs. Dixie E. Howard leaves the following relatives surviving: Her loving and devoted husband: Robert Howard of Hyden, KY; 1 - Daughter: Dwana Lynn Chapman and husband, Andy of Union, OH; two beloved grandchildren: Robert Chapman and wife, Stephanie of San Diego, CA and Dixie Martin and husband, Kevin of Bourg, France; A host of other loving family and friends also survive her passing. Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Dixie E. Howard at 1:00 P.M. - Thursday, September 06, 2012 from the chapel of the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Keith Bowling officiating. Burial will follow in the Adam's Cemetery at Hyden, KY. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, September 05, 2012 from 6:00 til 9:00 P.M. at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
