Mrs. Virginia Roberts

Virginia Roberts, born October 12, 1942 in Owsley County, KY to the union of the late Lumus and Elizabeth Ledford Rogers. She departed this life on Monday, November 07, 2011 at the Hospice Care Plus in Richmond, KY. She was 69 years and 26 days of age at the time of her passing. She was residing at 685 Misty Lane, Hyden, KY. She was united in marriage on January 22, 1962 to George Roberts. By occupation she was a retired Administrative Assistant, employed by the Frontier Nursing Service for nearly 30 years. Virginia enjoyed sewing, reading and fishing. She is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter: Deborah Hoskins.Mrs. Virginia Roberts leaves the following relatives surviving: Her loving and devoted husband of 49 years: George Roberts of Hyden, Ky, one son: Steven Roberts & Deloris of Hyden, KY, one daughter: Teresa Turner & James of Berea, KY. Two brothers: Chester Rogers & Vanda of Dayton, OH and Roy Rogers of Williamsburg, KY and one sister: Viola Sandlin & Chett. 4 grandchildren: Richard Henson, Austin Roberts, Travis Turner and Kyle Turner. 4 great-grandchildren: Alexis Henson, Tamika Henson, Haleigh Henson and Hannah Henson. A host of nieces, nephews, other family & friends also survive her passing.
