Nina Ruth Taylor

Nina Ruth Taylor, born May 13, 1917 in Letcher County, Kentucky , one of thirteen children, to the union of the late Shelby & Mary Alice Nichels Fletcher. Nina departed this life on Tuesday morning, July 19, 2011 at the Somerwoods Health & Rehab in Somerset, Kentucky. She was 94 years, 02 months and 06 days of age at the time of her passing. Nina was a homemaker and her hobbies included reading and embroidery work. She attended the Muncy Creek Holiness Church at Stinnett, Kentucky and the Christian Missionary Alliance Church at Essie, Kentucky. She was a member of the local gospel singing group, "Young At Heart." She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, her husband: William W. Taylor, two sons: Roger Lynn Taylor and Vernon Oliver Taylor. One granddaughter: Janet Nicole Hacker, also ten brothers and sisters. Nina leaves the following relatives surviving: Two sons: Clifford & Alice Faye Baker of Elmendorf, TX and Robert Dean Taylor of Stinnett, KY. Four daughters: Peggy & John Hacker of Stinnett, KY, Linda & Don Tabor of Riddleton, TN, Diane & Roger Chambers of Hartsville, TN and Sarah Jean Wells of Wooton, KY. One brother: Wiley Fletcher of Clarksville, TN and One sister: Bertie Louisa Pauline of Blue Field, WV. 19 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and a host of other precious family and friends survive her passing.
