Ms. Norma Jean Sizemore, born July 17, 1937 in Leslie County, KY to the union of the late Reynold Bowling and the late Nora Napier Bowling. She departed this life on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital. She was 73 years of age at the time of her passing. Norma was a life long resident of Leslie County with the exception of living in Manchester, KY for the past 5 years. By occupation, Norma was a retired social worker, being employed by the Leslie County Social Services. Norma enjoyed playing music, going to church and family gatherings. She especially enjoyed playing the guitar and banjo. Norma Jean is preceded in death by, her parents; her loving husband, Paul Sizemore, four brothers, Ralph, Willie, Earl and Ford. One infant brother, George. Four sisters: Ednie Reynolds, Edith Halcons, Alma Ducker and Pauline Helton. Two infant sisters: Rose and Joanne Bowling. Ms. Norma Jean (Bowling) Sizemore leaves the following relatives surviving: Six sons, Ricky Sizemore and wife, Donna of Manchester, KY, Denver Dean Sizemore and wife, Lisa of Hyden, KY, Tony Sizemore of Bear Branch, KY, Stevie Sizemore of London, KY, Paul Douglas Sizemore of Bear Branch, KY and Marshall Sizemore and wife, Patty of Essie, KY. One daughter, Sandy Jackson and husband, A.C. of Manchester, KY. Two brothers, John Bowling and wife, Goldie of Somerset, KY and Hershall Bowling and wife, Jean of London, KY. Two sisters, Kathleen Jones of Thousandsticks, KY and Ann Howard of Tennessee. Ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.
