Orpah Collett

Orpah Collett, age 88, departed this life on Monday, May 02, 2016 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. Orpah was born December 11, 1927 in Leslie County, Kentucky to the union of the late Remine and Nancy Griffith Munsey. Orpah was a beloved mother, grandmother and friend. She was a homemaker and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking and walking. She especially enjoyed family gatherings. Other than her parents, Orpah is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Corbit Collett, step-daughter, Ruth Hall, sisters, Ruth, Lillian and Betty, brothers, Romine and Dill, one great granddaughter, Emalyn Grace. Survivors include, one son, Landry Collett & wife, Sandy, three daughters, Sharilynn Lawson & husband, Glenn, and Joan Humphries & husband, Roger and Audrey Fickbohm; ten grandchildren, Kiesha, Landry Anthony, Kendra, Beverly, Theresa, David, Kristin, Scott, Sheena, and Clinton, six step grandchildren, twenty three great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren also survive.

Private services were held for Orpah Collett in the chapel of the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home. Interment services followed. Arrangements were carefully handled under the direction of the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
