Ozella Romaine Smith was born at Asher, Kentucky on April 09, 1945. She was born to the late Alvin and Nancy Bowling Hoskins. Romaine was a Leslie County Native and was a homemaker. She was a devoted member of the Stinnett Gap Church of God. She had a strong faith in God and attended church faithfully. She loved her family with all her heart and enjoyed the time spent with them, as well as visiting others. She was selfless and enjoyed helping others. In her past time, she enjoyed reading. Ozella Romaine Smith departed this walk of life on Tuesday, January 05, 2021. She was 75 years old.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one beloved son, Alvin Jeffrey Smith, one brother, Pat Hoskins and one sister, Ruth Bowling.
Ozella Romaine Smith leaves behind, her loving & devoted husband, Corbel Smith of Asher, KY, two sons, Greg Smith of Asher, KY and Shawn Smith & wife, Kim of Mozelle, KY. Other survivors include, two brothers, Jimmy Hoskins & wife, Shirley of Morgantown, IN and Doyle Hoskins & wife, Barbara of London, KY, two sisters, Evelyn Roark & husband, Julius of Mozelle, KY and Betty Hoskins & husband, Bob of Asher, KY. As well as three grandchildren, Cheyenne Smith, Riley Thomas and Katherine Thomas and one great-grandchild, Mila Bell.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 P.M. – Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the Stinnett Gap Church of God with Geoffrey Roberts, William Hoskins and Michael Hoskins officiating. Interment will follow in the Hoskins Memorial Cemetery at Asher, Kentucky. The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. – Saturday evening at the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
