Patrick Allen Coots

Patrick Allen Coots, born March 29, 1995 in Knoxville, TN to the union of Glenn and Virginia Coots. He departed this life on August 23, 2012 at the age of 17 years, 04 months and 25 days. Patrick was a life long resident of Perry County and was residing at 1046 Puncheon Camp Road, Cornettsville, KY at the time of his death. Patrick was a Student at the Perry County Central High School and was in his Senior Year. He was actively involved in sports. Patrick played football for the Commodores his first three years of High School. He was currently on the Wrestling team and Track & Field team. In his own time, Patrick enjoyed fishing, camping and four-wheeling. He was an avid sports fan and athlete. Patrick is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Odul Coots and Polly Ann Bailey. Patrick Allen Coots leaves the following relatives surviving: His loving parents: Glenn and Virginia Coots of Cornettsville, KY; Maternal grandparents: Linda Shepherd & grandpa Don of Warbranch, KY and Verlin Cress of Viper, KY; Maternal great grandmother: Virginia Riddle of Cornettsville, KY; Special grandfather: Orville Williams; One sister: Dallas Rani Coots of Cornettsville, KY; A host of classmates, teammates, family and friends also survive his passing. Funeral services for Patrick Allen Coots will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Sunday, August 26, 2012 from the Krypton Brethren Church with Manuel Grace officiating. Burial will follow in the Coots Cemetery at Yeaddiss, KY. The family will receive friends for visitation at the church after 5:00 P.M. Saturday, August 25, 2012.
