Pauline Conley

Pauline Conley was born August 18, 1957 in Leslie County to the union of the late Edgar and Jane Collins Combs.  She departed this life on February 20, 2021 at the age of 63.  She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Leslie County for much of her life.  She enjoyed riding All Terrain Vehicles and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Michelle; three brothers, Pearl, Jr., Adam and Jamie Combs; two sisters, Betty Rader and Linda Carol Combs.

She leaves surviving one son, Paul Combs (Sena) of Hazard, Ky; one brother, Roy Allen Combs of Ga; four sisters, Shirley Shackleford (James) of Leatherwood, Ky, Katherine Shelton (Johnny) of Hindman, Ky, Judith Turner of Hyden, Ky, and Effie Cleary (Lloyd) of Hindman, KY; Special Granddaughter, Adalynn Turner; grandchildren, Roger Dale Combs and Miranda Combs; great-grandchildren, Chloe Olivia, Aubrey Faith and Lily Dawn.  A host of other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral services will be at 12 Noon Friday at the Hals Fork Holiness Church with Clayton Turner and Dallas Nolan officiating.  Interment will follow at the Combs Cemetery at Clear Creek.  Visitation will be after 6:30 PM – Wednesday until the service hour on Friday at the church.
