Pauline Pennington

Pauline Pennington, 66, of Hyden, Kentucky departed this life on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the Hazard A.R.H. Pauline was born April 10, 1949 in Leslie County, KY to the union of the late Willie and Tilda Joseph. Pauline was a homemaker and a member of the Big Fork Church of God at Yeaddiss, KY. She enjoyed going to church, gardening, ginseng hunting and playing guitar. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Other than her parents, Pauline is preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Pennington, brothers, Richmond, Dennis and Charlie Joseph, one sister, Kizzie Joseph, and three infant sibling.

Survivors include: one son, Elvis Pennington (April) of Hyden, KY; one daughter, Shirley Thomas (Monroe) of McIntosh, KY; one brother, Clemmie Joseph (Frances) of Yeaddiss, KY; one sister, Martha Joseph of Yeaddiss, KY; five grandchildren, Brittany, Mary Beth (Jeremy), Danny(Kyla), Chase and Sylvia; six great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 1:00 P.M., TUESDAY, MARCH 15, 2016 AT THE BIG FORK CHURCH OF GOD WITH MICHAEL CALDWELL AND MICHEAL JOSEPH OFFICIATING. BURIAL WILL FOLLOW AT THE JOSEPH CEMETERY AT YEADDISS, KY. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS AFTER 6:00 P.M., MONDAY EVENING AT THE CHURCH.
