Penny (Hoskins) Parrish

Penny Parrish of Somerset, Kentucky, formerly of Leslie County was born April 24, 1964, a daughter of the late Charles & Viola Hoskins.  She was united in marriage to Dale Parrish on March 10, 1980, in Covington, Kentucky.  By occupation, Penny was a Transporter and Nurse Aid for Mercy Hospital.  She enjoyed playing bingo, quilting and spending time with her friends.

Penny departed this walk of life on Thursday, September 02, 2021, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.  Penny was 57 years old.

In addition to her parents, Penny was preceded in death by one grandson, Willard Trey Wayne Garrison, half-brother, Billy Hoskins and one half-sister, Doris Jean.

Penny is survived by her loving & devoted husband, Dale Parrish of Somerset, KY, two daughters, Miranda Jones and Joni Garrison & David.  Other survivors include, one brother, Ronnie Hoskins & Becky, one sister, Connie Jones & Jim.  Four cherished grandchildren, David Brice Garrison, Kandice Lavone Garrison, Madison Lavone Jones and Zachery Daze Jones.

Graveside service for Penny Parrish will be held at 2:00 p.m. – Sunday, August 12, 2021, at the Polly Marcum Cemetery at Fish Trap Road, Big Creek, KY.  Interment will follow the service.

Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
