Ralph Shawn Napier

Ralph Shawn Napier, age 39, of Preachers Fork Rd., Hyden, Kentucky, passed away on Friday at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, Kentucky. He was the son of Ralph Napier and the late Connie Sue Stidham Napier. Shawn was a life long resident of Leslie County. He enjoyed four-wheeling, motorcycle riding, working on cars, hunting and most importantly, spending time with his children.
Survivors include, his beloved father, Ralph and step-mother, Annette Napier, Hyden, KY, children, Hunter and Destiny, both of Hyden, Kentucky, fiance', Jennifer McIntosh of Hyden, KY, step - brother, John Douglas Handshoe and wife, Suzanna of Lexington, KY, along with several aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends who survive his passing. Shawn was preceded in death by, his mother, Connie Sue Napier, maternal and paternal grandparents four uncles and one aunt.

Funeral services for Ralph Shawn Napier will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday in the chapel of the Wolfe and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in the Hurricane Cemetery, Hyden, Kentucky. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
