Ricky Allen Harris

Ricky Allen Harris of Hyden, Kentucky was born June 29, 1966 in Perry County to the union of the late Jewels & Bonnie Harris.  Ricky had been a life-long resident of Leslie County and by occupation, he was a logger, having logged for over 30 years.  Ricky loved his job and being in the mountains.  He served honorably in the National Guard for 18 years.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.  He was also an avid UK Basketball fan.  Above all, Ricky enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Ricky departed this life on Tuesday, December 03, 2019 in Cornettsville, Kentucky.  Ricky was 53 years old.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jewels and Bonnie Harris.

Ricky leaves behind his fiancé, Linda Caldwell of Hyden, KY; three children, Jacqueline Neace & husband, Jared of Campton, KY, Marie Reiff & husband, Donald of Hyden, KY, and Nicholas Caldwell of Hyden, KY.  Other survivors include, two brothers, Jimmy Harris of Cutshin, KY and Phillip “Andy” Harris & wife, Monique of Louisa, KY, sister, Janie Boggs of Cutshin, KY;  Four cherished grandchildren, Haleigh, Mila, Donavon, and Marissa.  Special brother-in-law, Glenn Boggs.

Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
