Ricky D. Woods

Ricky Dale Woods of River Road, Hyden, KY passed away on Friday, May 24, 2013 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center at the age of 48 years. He was born December 19, 1964 in Leslie County, KY to the union of the late Paul Woods and the late Anna Lee Howard. Ricky was a life long resident of Leslie County and by occupation he was a Machine Operator, employed by the Austin Powder Company. Ricky is preceded in death by his parents: Paul Woods and Anna Lee Howard. Ricky leaves surviving the following relatives surviving: 2 - brothers: Ronnie Woods (Alene) of Hyden, KY and Mark Woods (Marsha) of Chicago, IL; 3 sisters: Ruth Ann Sizemore (Burley, Jr."Possum") of Manchester, KY, Barbara Clark (Norman) of London, KY and Vickie of Lexington; A host of other family and friends also survive his passing. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 Noon - Monday, May 27, 2013 at the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Roger Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow the services at the Jack Napier Cemetery at Thousandsticks, KY. The Woods family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. Sunday, May 26, 2013 at the funeral home chapel.
