Robert Bear"" Asher

Robert M. "Bear" Asher was born August 05, 1963 in Leslie County, KY to the union of the late Eugene Carter Asher and Wanda Sue Bowling Asher. He departed this life on April 10, 2013 at his residence in London, KY at the age of 49 years. Robert was a former resident of Leslie County and had been residing at 445 Cassidy Rd, London, KY for the past 10 years. Robert was a self employed Mechanic and enjoyed working on cars as a hobby. Robert is preceded in death by his parents; Paternal Grandparents: John H. Asher and Rose Hoskins Asher; Maternal Grandparents: Robert and Bernice Bowling; One sister: Eugena Asher. Mr. Robert M. "Bear" Asher leaves surviving the following relatives: 2 sons: Robert Lee Asher and Jonathon B. Asher; 1 daughter: Serena Asher of Hyden, KY; 3 brothers: Johnny, Carlo and Jeff Asher; 7 sisters: Zandra McQueen, Vickie Helton, Angelita Sprading, Kim Beatman, Telethia Asher, Serena Nolan and Asonia Sizemore; 3 grandchildren: Heaven, Brylee and Savannah Rose; A host of cherished nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive his passing. Funeral services will be conducted for Mr. Robert M. "Bear" Asher at 1:00 P.M. - Saturday, April 13, 2013 from the Lower Middle Fork Pentecostal Church of God at Asher, KY with Eugene "Friday" Roberts and Logan Roberts officiating. The following will serve as pallbearers: Billy Roberts, Raymond Hale, Michael Parks, Dallas Nolan, Eric Reynold and John Coots. The Asher family will receive friends for visitation from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 1:00 P.M. - Saturday at the church.
