Robert H. Collier

Mr. Robert H. Collier, age 70 of Hyden, Kentucky, departed this life on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the Mary Breckinridge ARH in Hyden, KY. Robert was born on March 25, 1943 in Baltimore, MD to the union of the late Ulysses and Edna Mae Stevens Collier. Robert was a retired construction worker. He enjoyed working outside, building bird houses, attending ball games and building fish ponds. He was also an avid UK - Kentucky Wildcats fan. Other than his parents, Robert is preceded in death by 1- brother: Lynnwood Collier. Robert leaves surviving the following relatives: His loving and devoted wife: Brenda Sue Collier of Hyden, KY; 5-sons: Arnold Lynnwood Collier of Hyden, KY, John Albert Collier, James Franklin Collier (Crystal), Carl William Collier (Delores) and Robert Ulysses Collior (Marty), all of Hazard, KY; 1-daughter: Crystal Y. Baker (Dewey) of Wooton, KY; 1-brother: Carl F. Collier of Marion, OH; 1-sister: Madlyn Joan Elliott of Waverly, OH; 11-grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and a host of other family and friends survive his passing. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. - Saturday, August 17, 2013 from the Chapel of the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Kendall Combs officiating. Burial will follow in the Baker-Collier Cemetery at Cinda, KY. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. - Friday, August 16, 2013 at the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
