VISITATION: 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. – Wednesday at the chapel.
Mr. Roger Davidson was born August 13, 1959 in Leslie County, Kentucky, the son of Corman Davidson and Edith Williams. Roger had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, residing at Smilax, Kentucky for the majority of his life. Roger worked as a car dealership manager. He was a faithful member of the Right Fork Church of Christ at Mace’s Creek. Roger’s hobbies included, hunting, fishing, and riding horses. Roger’s greatest joy came from attending church. He was devout in his faith and enjoyed serving the Lord. Roger could be described as a simple man; a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Roger passed away Friday, March 01, 2019 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, Kentucky. Roger was 59 years old.
Roger leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 37 years, Pauline Fields Davidson of Smilax, KY, a beloved son, Roger Erik Davidson of Georgetown, KY, and a beloved daughter, Traci Davidson Roberts & husband, James “Brownie” Roberts of Smilax, KY. Other survivors include, his father, Corman Davidson of Hyden, KY, and loving mother, Edith Williams of Hyden, KY, three sisters, Mary Lewis of Hyden, KY, Tammy Adams & husband, Tate of Jackson, KY, and Mildred Davidson of Hyden, KY. Along with six cherished grandchildren, Tyler Davidson, Kaitlyn Davidson, Addasyn Davidson, Christopher Roberts, Haley Roberts, and Bailey Roberts.
