Roy Lee Collett

Mr. Roy Lee Collett, born April 13, 1952 in Leslie County, KY to the union of the late Wiley and the late Bertha Hall Collett. He departed this life on Monday, November 12, 2012 at his residence. He was 60 years of age and was residing at 246 Montana Dr. - Roark, Kentucky at the time of his passing. Roy was a life long resident of Leslie County and was a former logger by occupation. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Roy is preceded in death by his parents; 1- brother: Matthew Collett; 2-sisters: Mollie Collett and Ernestine Collins. Mr. Roy Lee Collett is survived by the following relatives: 1 - daughter he raised and loved as his own: Brenda Carol Wagers of Roark, KY; 1-brother: Joe Collett (Pam) of Tyner, KY; 3-sisters: Christine Caldwell of Warbranch, KY, Martha Fotopoulos of Tyner, KY and Goldie Collett of Clay County. 2-grandchildren and a host of other family friends survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. - Friday, November 16, 2012 from the Lower Jack's Creek United Methodist Church at Roark, KY with Reed Brock and Ralph Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Collett Cemetery at Essie, KY. The family will receive friends for visitation after 6:00 P.M. - Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the church at Roark, KY.
