Ruby Pennington

Mrs. Ruby Pennington, age 85 of London, KY, formally of Wooton, KY passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 03, 2013 at the residence. She was born June 14, 1928 in Leslie County, KY to the union of the late Felix and Mae Kilburn Caudill. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening, attending flea markets and spending time with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by: Her parents; her husband: Henry Pennington;1-son: Henry Pennington, Jr.; Daughter: Ann Pennington; Grandson: Doug Morgan. Ruby leaves surviving the following relatives: 1 - daughter: Janice Morgan of Louisville, KY; 1 - special granddaughter, whom she loved as her own: Ragina Young (Lance) of London, KY; 1 brother: Filmore Clark (Peggy) of London, KY; 1 - sister: Dolly Kilburn of Wooton, KY; 3 - grandchildren: Patrick Pennington of TX, Deanna Baker (Jerry) of Wooton, KY, Michelle Morgan of Whitesburg, KY; 5 - great-grandchildren: Chase, Ramsey, Bryton, Ryder and Gunner. A host of other family and friends also survive her passing. Funeral services for Ruby Pennington will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. - Tuesday, November 05, 2013 from the chapel of the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Joseph officiating. Burial will follow in the Pennington Cemetery at Smilax, KY. The family will receive friends for visitation from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home chapel.
