Sharon Sue Hoskins

Sharon Sue Hoskins of Asher, Kentucky, departed this life on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at her residence at the age of 64. Sharon was born December 31, 1950 in Leslie County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Ott Wooton and the late Rachel Hicks. She was a homemaker and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. Sharon enjoyed spending time with her family and reading. She also enjoyed volunteering with many activities and organizations in the community.

Other than her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by her grandmother whom raised her, Mollie Melton Wooton.

Survivors include, her loving and devoted companion of many years, Boone Simpson of Asher, KY; two sons: William Doyle Hoskins (Chanda) of Asher, KY and John Patrick Hoskins (Mary Ann) of Lexington, KY; one daughter, Carla Simpson of Asher, KY; three brothers, Jack Wooton, Bill Wooton (Heather) and Dwayne Wooton, all of Wooton, KY; two sisters, Wanda Adams (Doug) of Wooton, KY and Janie Benton (Steve) of Hyden, KY; four cherished grandchildren, Samantha Hoskins, Sommer Vance (Andrew), Nevaeh Hoskins and Peyton Hoskins; one great-grandchild, Jaden Fouts; one step-grandson, Chad Marcum; A host of other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held for Sharon Hoskins at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 23, 2015 in the chapel of the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Wolfe & Tim Finley officiating. Burial will follow in the Melton Cemetery at Wooton, KY. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M., Tuesday at the funeral home chapel.
