Shirley Smith Nolan

Shirley Smith Nolan, age 74 of Chadwell Hollow Rd. Manchester, Kentucky wife of Fred Nolan passed away Friday morning at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. Shirley is the daughter of the late Ray Smith and Ruth Simpson Smith. She enjoyed her flower garden and sewing. She is survived by her husband: Fred Nolan of Manchester, Kentucky; two sons, Claude and Irene Nolan of Manchester, Kentucky; Marty and Joann Nolan of Manchester, Kentucky. Three daughters, Freda Shepherd, Christine Lawson, and Annie and Jerry Hacker all of London, Kentucky. Twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Big Creek Holiness Church with Shane McQueen, and Andrew Fultz. Burial will follow in the Brock Cemetery at Roark, Kentucky. The family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. Monday at the church until the funeral hour. Pallbearers will be Marty Nolan, Claude Nolan, Freddy Nolan, Bradley Rose, Curtis Whitehead, and Jamie Hubbard.
