Stevie Collett Barrett

Mr. Stevie Collett Barrett, age 46 of Lower Bowen's Creek Road, Essie, Kentucky, passed away at his residence on October 09, 2014. Stevie was born on August 06, 1968 in Beverley, Ky, the son of Chester "Junior" Barrett and Goldie Collett. Stevie was a life long resident of Leslie County. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Chester and Chelsie Barrett; maternal grandparents: Wiley and Bertha Collett; one brother: Billy Joe Barrett; one nephew: Shawn William Barrett;

Stevie leaves surviving: His father: Chester "Junior" (Bonnie) Barrett; mother: Goldie Collett; mother of his children: Alice Collett; two daughters: Bertha Brianna Afton Collett, and Chelsie Mallory Carlina Collett; two brothers: Keith David Collett and Lonnie Joe Barrett; two sisters: Carlina Farris, and Tiffany Hoskins; step brother and step sister: Robbie & Trina Johnson; A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends also survive his passing.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, October 13, 2014 at the Lower Jack's Creek United Methodist Church at Roark, Ky with Taylor Adams and Chuck Jack officiating. Burial will follow in the Collett Cemetery at Essie, Ky. The family will receive friends for visitation after 6:00 P.M., Sunday at the church.
