Tonda Louise Morgan

Tonda Louise Morgan, age 36 of Essie, Kentucky, departed this walk of life on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at the Albert Chandler UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY. Tonda was born, November 21, 1976 in Whitesburg, Kentucky to the union of Billy and Belinda Hicks Conn. Tonda had been a resident of Leslie County for the past 21 years. She was united in marriage to her loving and devoted husband, Dwight Morgan on June 06, 1992. Tonda was a homemaker and a member of the Lower Middle Fork Pentecostal Church of God at Asher, KY and a member of the Upper Grassy Branch Pentecostal Church at Essie, KY. Tonda enjoyed going on vacations, shopping with her daughter, Hannah and going to the beach. Church was an important part of her life, she loved to sing and play the piano for the Lord. Most importantly, she loved being a mother, cooking and caring for her family. Tonda is preceded in death by: Paternal Grandparents: Edward and Yvonne Conn; Maternal Grandparents: Arthur and Irene Hicks. 1- Uncle: Joe Daniel Conn. Mrs. Tonda L. Morgan leaves surviving the following relatives: Her loving and devoted husband: Dwight Morgan of Essie, KY; Beloved parents: Billy and Belinda Hicks Conn of Whitesburg, KY; Father-in-law & Mother-in-law: Berlin and Rose Morgan of Essie, KY; 2 Sons: Jacob Morgan and Johnathon Morgan, both of Essie, KY; 4 Daughters: Hannah Morgan, Savannah Morgan, Holly Morgan and Adalyn Morgan, all of Essie, KY; 2 Brothers: Robbie Conn (Tonya) of Mt. Sterling, KY and Michael Conn (Tabitha) of Whitesburg, KY; Her twin sister: Rhonda Amerson (Billy) of London, KY; Special Aunt whom loved her as a daughter: Brenda Adams of Whitesburg, KY; A Host of other cherished aunts, uncles, family and friends also survive her passing. The funeral services for Mrs. Tonda L. Morgan, will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. - Friday, July 19, 2013 from the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church at Hyden, KY with James Bowling, Jr. and Ron Oplinger officiating. Interment will follow in the Lee Morgan Cemetery at Essie, KY with the following serving as pallbearers: Jacob Morgan, Jaylon Morgan, Cody Conn, Blake Conn, Matthew Allen and Geordon Conn. The Morgan Family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. - Thursday, July 18, 2013 at the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church.
