W alter “Chick” Eldridge, 89 of Touloose Road, Busy, Kentucky departed this walk of life on July 28, 2018 at the Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky.  He was born February 12, 1929 in Perry County, Kentucky to the union of the late Abe and Prudie Wooton Eldridge.  “Chick” was a former worker with the “Happy Pappy”.   Most of the time you could find him sitting on the porch in the sun.  His greatest joy came from his family and friends.   In addition to his parents, Walter “Chick” Eldridge was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Evalee;  daughter, Brenda;  siblings, John, Bill, Ray, and Old Eldridge;  Floria Caldwell, Rellie Dallanback, and Maudia Hughes.

He leaves behind, two sons, Ricky Eldridge of Busy, KY, and Samuel Eldridge (Crysta Gail) of Busy, KY;  three daughters, Elizabeth Osborne of Hyden, KY, Bessie Deaton (Fred) of Busy, KY, and Isabell Noyes (Calvin) of Nancy, KY;  one sister, Isabell Feltner (Lida) of Hyden, KY;  twenty one grandchildren, fifty two great- grandchildren,  and four great-great grandchildren also survive.
