Walter "Tub" Lee Couch

Mr. Walter Lee “Tub” Couch, 62, of Saul, KY departed this life on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center in Hazard, KY.  Walter was born January 24, 1960 in Saul, KY to the union of the late Joseph and Mary Arnett Couch.  He had been a life-long resident of Saul, KY and by trade, Walter was a mechanic.  He was an avid fisherman.

In addition to his parents, Walter was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Louise “Lula Bell” Davidson Couch, four brothers, LC, Arnold, Larry and Donald Couch and two sisters, Jeanette Estep and Juanita Barger.

Survivors include:  One son, Walter Lee Couch, Jr. of Buckhorn, KY, daughter, Carrie Gay (Allie) of Elizabethtown, KY, three brothers, Junior Couch of London, KY, Ronald Couch (Mary Ester) of Saul, KY and Pleas Couch (Charlene) of Saul, KY, five sisters, Martha Blythe (James) of Indianapolis, IN, Gracie Estep of Saul, KY, Rachel Couch (Floyd, Jr.) of Manchester, KY, Mary Allen (Glenn) of Manchester, KY and Myrtle Davidson of Bullskin, KY, brother-in-law, James Harvey Davidson of Bullskin, KY.  Also surviving is a very special friend, Rhonda Bowling and his cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and other relatives & friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. – Tuesday at Mt. Paran Baptist Church at Saul, KY with Robert Rice officiating.

Interment will follow in the Couch Town Government Cemetery at Saul, KY.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 11:30 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m.  on Tuesday at the church.
