William McAllister

William McAllister was born May 22, 1985 to David McAllister and Wilma Fields Bowling.  William had spent most of his life in Leslie County and was residing at Hyden, KY at the time of his death.  He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, riding four-wheelers and camping.

He departed this walk of life on Monday, December 27, 2021 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center in Hazard, KY after a long illness.  William was 36 years old.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Betty Witt and Polly Williams.

William leaves surviving, his mother, Wilma Bowling & James of Hyden, KY; father, David McAllister of London, KY; two daughters, Sarah Walker and Fallyn Baker; three brothers, Michael Fields of Confluence, KY, Charles Brown of London, KY, and Blake Brown of Hyden, KY; three sisters, Betty Brown of Hyden, KY, Victoria McAllister of Jackson, KY, Morgan McAllister of Lawrenceburg, KY; special friend, Jessie Lewis, special uncle, Richard Witt and special great-uncle, Ted Williams.

Funeral services for William McAllister will be held at 1pm - Monday, January 03, 2022  at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Jimmy Dean Feltner officiating.   Interment will follow in the Williams Family Cemetery at Smilax, KY.  The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6 – 9pm at the funeral home chapel.
